After searching online for a protein drink product, I found Purely Inspired Organic Protein. After reading the product description and other people’s comments and reviews, I decided to give it a try. Luckily, I was able to buy a container at my local store just to test it. I’m really glad I did.
I have been a fitness and nutrition enthusiast for the last twenty years and am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest. I have tried other protein drinks and Purely Inspired far surpasses them for my needs.
Also, being primarily vegan, only rearely eating cheese or eggs but no meat, I was looking for a protein supplement that was plant based, organic, without any soy, dairy or GMO, that was affordable and tasted good. And although I’m not gluten sensitive, it is also gluten free. Note: It appears that Purely Inspired has produced other protein powders that contained milk and soy, but this one does not.
As soon as I tried Purely Inspired, I was sold.
The taste is excellent, even in water although I use almond milk for the extra calcium that provides. The almond milk also makes the resulting drink a bit thicker and creamier.
I like both the Decadent Chocolate and French Vanilla flavors. I also split the servings into one scoop in the morning and one scoop in the afternoon. The taste is that good.
For me, the single scoop twice a day works well and one scoop fills me up without any heavy or bloated feeling.
I have been using it for about six months now and have not had any reason to look for another product.
The powder is pretty fine so it mixes well. I use a shaker bottle (I got mine here) which I can use when traveling or at work.
As far as any down side, there were none for me but you’ll need to try it yourself to see if it works for you.
I feel the price for what I receive is very good. There is often a coupon to use when ordering to reduce the price so that is definitely a bonus.
